Creating the habit

I'm thinking I may go ahead and "post" during this "between time" - before the start of my 30-day faith experiment. I've never journaled on a regular basis. Maybe now's the time to get in the habit.

I started the day early, dropping off Jacob at day care. Jacob is 10 months old and the light of our lives. He has eyes like his mothers - not in color but in that I love looking into them. From day care it was back home for a quick cup of coffee before meeting a friend, Andy, at the Bean Counter for . . . more coffee.

Andy and I met a lady this morning who was having one last cup of caffeine before starting a 22 hour drive (her estimate) to Michigan - some family matters to take care of. We'll keep an eye out for her in the future. At the last minute Andy and I decided to see the Abilene opening of "Glory Road," a movie about the 1966 Texas Western basketball team that won the NCAA championship. Good movie and good discussion followed.

Tonight, Krista took care of Jacob (which meant feeding, bathing, and changing an award winning diaper). She's awesome.
